Случается так, что иногда люди делают бесчеловечные поступки. По улицам города в Аргентине бродил чёрный пёс. Он от рождения имел совсем другой окрас. А черным он стал от того, что кто-то измазал его смолой.

Люди увидели этого бедного пса и вызвали полицию. Собака была поймана полицейскими и её увезли в машине, в центр по спасению животных. Работники центра стали отмывать бедное животное от смолы, но она очень сильно впиталась в его кожу.

Собаку отмывали многими средствами, но всё было напрасно, смола засохла, так, что отмыть её никак не удавалось. Спасатели не теряли надежды и в течение пяти часов они тщательно мыли пёсика.

После упорного труда стали появляться маленькие участки чистой шерсти, но до полной очистки было ещё далеко. Бедное животное с терпением переносил процедуру очистки, оно понимало, что эти люди не причинят ему зла, а наоборот делают всё, чтобы он не страдал.

За выдержку пёсика назвали Петром, что означает «камень». На полную очистку шерсти ушло несколько дней, а на процедуры ежедневно уходило до четырёх часов. Сейчас Петру ничего не угрожает, он благодарен своим спасителям. За заботу он платит лаской. Надеемся, что пёс забудет весь тот ужас, который ему причинили нелюди. Очень хочется, чтобы его приютила любящая семья, которая никогда его не обидит.
